I want to start by saying I feel Dr. Kontos saved my life. He's a great doctor. He caught skin cancer early that surely would have killed me. I have since been devoutly following him and his practice to where ever he moves to seek his expertise since 2011. I even travel to see him as I live in Miami. Sadly, I will no more. His office staff has become so dismissive and unconcerned for the patient's needs in their callous narrow minded administrative process. My appointment with Vanessa Lancaster went very well. She explained a couple of things I had to deal with and took care of them in true fashion. She is very understanding and considerate with her patients.
Dr. Kontos and staff are very caring and makes you feel comfortable
I spend time out in the swamps of southwest Florida photographing panthers and other wildlife. I have never given much thought to protecting my skin (except from mosquitos). As a result I have developed skin cancer. I cannot identify it, but Dr Kontos knew what to look for. Twice he has removed it without scaring my face. Thanks Doc!
My visit with Dr. Kontos was a pleasant experience. He has a pleasing personality and a great memory. I hadn't seen him in two and a half years, and he remembered me instantly. My examination was not rushed, and he gave me results that were easy to understand.

Dr Kontos and his staff are always very welcoming. He listens to concerns and addresses them with compassion.
I was concerned because I had to have surgery on my nose. Dr. Kontos and is staff put me to ease instantly. Dr. Kontos first set up a consultation where he explained in detail what MOHS surgery was and how the surgery would go. The next meeting he performed the surgery. The PA and her assistant are amazing, caring people. Every time I go in to see the PA she is just so wonderful and her assistant by far has made every visit I’ve had pleasant. I have only met the Doctor once but he was very nice and calming as well.
