Dr. Star is a consumate professional. I was referred to him by a friend who also had hip replacement surgery under his care. I was very pleased with all parts of the care from initial surgical consult to my 2 month post op follow up. My pain and suffering were cured, mobility restored and I have a life again. He has great support staff and I would be remiss not to honor their skills as well.
Above average surgeon . So far experiencing nothing but success
Dr. Star replaced my left hip in January of 2019. He replaced my right hip in September of 2019. I chose him because in the past he successfully treated a few of my friends. I'm very pleased with the results. I can walk like a normal person now, without "rocking" from side to side and without bending over due to pain. I highly recommend Dr. Star to people who suffer from hip arthritis.
I've been seeing Dr. Star for over a year as he's treated my arthritic hip; he explained each step of the process, reviewing xrays with me and showing areas of deterioration that persisted despite addressing them with less intrusive approaches like PT and quarterly hip injections.
