My loved one was a patient of his for several years. Their blood pressure was being monitored and every time it would rise, they were supposed to be contacted to schedule a visit. Their blood pressure was high multiple times in a short period of days. No contact from the office. Just sending them to the NP and then changing their meds with no review of the root cause. And then they had a heart attack. I wish they would report him because he should not be practicing cardiology any longer.
I saw Dr Rubin on February 12th for a first evaluation. I had been seeing another Cardiologist for about four years. My blood pressure was never in control and my other cardiovascular problems were not addressed as they should have been. I finally decided that I needed to change cardiologist. Always very pleasant and gets right down to my health issues.
Never thought I’d need a Cardiologist but very thankful we have Dr. Rubin. He is by far the most thorough & thoughtful Doctor I’ve experienced & I’m in my 70’s. He doesn’t just look at the immediate issues but thoroughly investigates to find the underlying cause. Thru his due diligence & testing we came to find out that I have a rare heart issue. My wife went in Eisenhower Hospital Saturday for chest pain . Dr Rubin saw her right away compared three sets of EKG's taken including on performed half hour earlier at Urgent Care. Also compared one she had Jully 2022 on another issue. Ordered three blood tests , and an echo be done , His initial diagnosis before the blood test was muscular or anxiety. He told my wife they would keep her overnight since they would not release her until they were certain of issue.
Dr Rubin has seen me through a cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion and now the insertion of the Watchman. I have the utmost regard and confidence in him.

I'm a physician and have been a patient of Dr Rubin's for at least 25 years. Excellent care.
No I would not at all recommend him. He never came to me before surgery and went over what he was going to do, I could have backed out at the last minute, but I was out and couldn’t. This is not good!!!!
