I completely sympathize and regard some of the disappointed individuals who have been failed by the insurance/medical system in the United States, but to put the blame and project emotions upon a dedicated, talented surgeon is unfair. I went to him 2x for a consult regarding my skin graft. It was not healing in the projected timeline. Some things right off the bat: — I once had to wait 2 hrs for him — His office usually needs people to undress, but doesn’t have any gowns — His nurses don’t know the first thing about re-dressing wounds following the protocol. My husband, Fred Fruhling, was so fortunate to be referred to Dr Vardanian for plastic surgery following skin cancer removal. Dr V explained all steps of the process thoroughly and spent ample time explaining what would be done. He took a personal interest in each step of the complicated process. Everything went so smoothly that we were rather sad on the day he told us everything was fine and sent us on our way. He’s THE BEST.
I spent my childhood/young teen years in very uncomfortable obesity & started my weight loss journey about 10 years ago, but was stuck with excess skin & flab, most noticeably on my chest.
