Dr Albert was incredibly swift and attentive in dealing with a problem that otherwise would have caused me a lot of problems. I would recommend him to family or friends and indeed I have done

If not for Dr. Albert I wouldn't be here. That is not an exaggeration. I have Barretts' disease. I was told if I didn't have surgery I wouldn't be here in five years. I fought insurance for over a year to get what was deemed an experimental surgery. Dr. Albert assisted and with his help I got the surgery I needed. He is a thoughtful very talented Doctor. I can't thank him enough. 5 yrs later, My Barretts' is now under control.

Dr. Albert is fantastic. I was referred by another MD and see why that doc trusts him. He's very down to earth, personable, ethical, and obviously cares more about his patients than dollar signs. He gave me very clear explanations and instructions and gave me all the time I needed. Don't hesitate to see Dr. Albert

Dr A has been my gastro for years. He is a top notch doctor that has really helped my issues. During my first routine colonoscopy he found that my appendix looked enlarged. I went for a cat-scan right after and it was enlarged. Dr A consulted with another doctor specializing in appendices. It was discovered I had carcinoid on my appendix that would have turned cancerous without removing it. Dr A saved me from a serious condition with him being so thorough and persistent to get this looked at. Because he is an expert at what ... read more

I was recommended to Dr. Albert by my primary doctor and had great experiences during my appointments and procedure with him. With his busy schedule, it took a few months to get in for my first appointment, but the staff is very helpful with scheduling follow ups - both in-office and over email. I appreciate his approach of “empowering patients” by making treatment suggestions while allowing me to decide what I felt was necessary and comfortable with.

I was apprehensive about the whole colonoscopy thing. I was quite surprised that my experience was uneventful from begging to end. The prep was simple. I followed Dr. Alberts suggestion. I was able to work all day and went home at 5 and finished the rest of the prep. The check in and bedside manner at St. Joseph was amazing. The sedation and procedure were uneventful. Literally was told to dream nice things and remember being wheeled back in my room. Felt great the rest of the day. Meet the dr before and after procedure. He ... read more

I have been a satisfied patient of Dr. Albert's for over 8 years. He has performed both colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. Of course, the prep. for colonoscopy is always worse than the actual procedure. Most recently, he performed an endoscopy and, as always, his professionalism and thoroughness in the procedure and analysis was extradordinary. He listens to my questions and completely answers any questions I may have. I trust him for my gastrointestinal needs. And one could not have a better anasthesia experience when on... read more

Dr. Albert is a doctor who knows his stuff. He is straightforward and approachable and extremely thorough. The colonoscopy itself was painless and easier than expected — the IV was honestly the worst part (minus the prep of course). I highly recommend you visit Dr. Albert when looking for a GI doctor.
