I was thankful to get a quick appt when mri showed herniated disc and I was in severe pain. I should have been more concerned when he began talking about it being SI joint but I was so thankful to get an Rx for an anti-inflammatory and physical therapy. When I had no improvement with PT for 7 weeks I returned for a consult to discuss possible disc surgery.
