I worked there twice. Once as security and another as a cook. What’s happening in the news with this place does not surprise me at all. This place has always been shady and deceitful. The employees, aside from most of the nursing staff, are under-qualified and they hire anyone who’s willing work for peanuts. Stay away fro this place. They are the worst in NJ.
Both my grandmothers were here. One in 2011 who passed away from dementia. Staff was very rude I had to argue with them to bring her her lunch and to make sure she was showered and properly changed. My other grandmother passed away two years ago because she had a UTI infection so bad that was never caught she went septic and had a massive stroke and heart attack. They do not pay attention and even when you point blank explain to them what’s happening “they know better and they are always right!!” WORST PLACE EVER!!
Disgrace and absolutely criminal how they have handled covid 19. The news ( you can can google it ) from today on how they cruelly and callously handle poor elderly patients is disgraceful. And then tried to hide it.
This facility is absolutely careless when it comes to communicating with families during this pandemic and communicating EVER!!!! We received a letter in February stating they wouldn’t be able to handle the pandemic!! And haven’t gotten any notice since!!! We need answers!!! My family member is placed here and I haven’t heard anything other than what’s on the news and I hope and pray it is not my brother in those numbers of unnamed bodies they are throwing away like trash.
