My elderly father took his 2014 Camry in as the transmission was shuddering. He walked in the door and someone took his keys and said they’d get him checked in. That never happened. 5 mins later a technician came to him, told him his car was junk and the transmission was shot. He then offered to buy his car for $2,500 and charged him $70 for his “work”. Had a horrible experience. They didn’t have my car which was no big deal because they could get one. I had put money down on another car and decided not to get it. I told them to hold off while I thought about it for a couple days. They cashed my Ernest money check when I didn’t even have a car there, or had one picked out. Was given a quote for a vehicle via email. I verified what vehicle it was for. After verifying that we were both talking about the same vehicle I set up a time to come and see the vehicle. Drove an hour to come and see it and test drive it. The price was confirmed again. I set up a time to come in the next day with my husband.
