This review is quite late in coming. In fact, it has been 38 years since Dr. Anderson performed surgery on my back. But I cannot sing enough praises of him and his work.My back was seriously messed up and I could hardly even walk due to a fall a couple of years prior. The pain was constant and almost unbearable. 5 stars Dr. Anderson did a L4-5 laminectomy in 1992. He was to the point and I was a lot better. I have had issues over the years with arthritis but was drug free and pain free as long as I walked 2 miles per day and did the pt. I now am suffering from renewed sciatica in both legs after kidney failure last year. I have dialysis 2 times per week. An MRI is being done tomorrow. Today is April 13, 2023. 40 years ago to this day Dr. Anderson performed successful brain surgery on my son Kevin at CHOC. He was 12. Thanks to Dr. Anderson, Kevin is well with a successful career, married, and has two sons. Our family will be forever grateful for Dr. Andersons professionalism and skill those many years ago.

For years after a cervical spine injury I was in intolerable pain, spending most of my days lying on ice. I was referred to to Dr. Mark Andersen who replaced three damaged discs in my neck. I am a new woman now and as active as I was before the surgery. Yes, the surgery was painful, especially since I am allergic to most pain killers and could only take over the counter meds during the recovery period. But was it worth it? YOU BET. Dr. Anderson is ASTONISHING. Dr. Anderson is very keen on making sure his patients are educated on their diagnosis and condition. Dr. Anderson did a 4 level ANTERIOR CERVICAL DISCECTOMY AND FUSION. I had been battling severe neck pain for years and now that I have had this surgery I am living pain free. Life is definitely worth living when you are not experiencing any pain. Dr. Anderson is amazing!!! He replaced the disc between C 5&6 which was in two pieces and the vertebrae was crushing my nerve. I was in constant unbearable pain for over 20 years. The day after surgery, he removed my neck brace and my only pain was from the surgery itself. Within four days I was eating a regular diet and the nerve pain was completely gone. I had the worst experience ever with the front desk employee by the name of Katy. She was just terrible. My interaction with her over the phone and in person were uncomfortable moments for me. I've never experienced anything like it.

Dr. Anderson knows his stuff. Her did my cervical fusion I've 15 years ago and without hesitation I have returned with a new spinal issue. His staff is kind and caring. I trust Dr Anderson implicitly!
