Anchor Animal Hospital is magnificent. We are always warmly greeted, our puppy, Rose, loves all the staff and is never afraid, we never feel silly for bringing her in often, and the doctors are thorough, calming and explain everything, all options, at every visit. We highly recommend.
I've been bringing my pets to Anchor since I was a child with my parents I have always relied on them to care for my pets. Unfortunately since ownership has changed and Dr. Shinnoman and the 1st Dr. Peach retired the vet has gone in the wronge direction. Amongst many small issues that I've let slide the, the last straw for me was when my 15 year old cat had to be put to sleep. Such an amazing and compassionate staff. We had to put our cat to sleep and the staff helped us tremendously through this heartbreaking process. It was one of the most difficult decisions to make, but the staff helped us end our pets suffering with peace and dignity. There is so much love in that place... They are all truly ANGELS!

I can't say enough about how compassionate and wonderful the staff at Anchor Animal Hospital has been. My cats are not the easiest patients; but everyone there has been great handling them; analyzing their medical problems; and treating them. They do an exceptional job explaining any diagnosis; treatment; probable outcomes- with understanding. My animals could not be in better hands!
I have been going to anchor now for 15 years. I always refer this hospital to friends, co workers...professional, compassionate......they are the best in the area.

I have taken my pets to Anchor Animal Hospital for over 20 years and I would never go anywhere else. Not only are all the doctors wonderful and very knowledgeable but I truly believe they only hire the kindest, most compassionate staff I have ever encountered.
