I thank God for Dr. Gupta. He is a wonderful doctor, he has twice operated on my mother and he is the reason she is still alive. He removed every bit of her Stage 4 colon cancer 11 years ago in emergency operation, and two years ago removed her gall bladder again, emergency life-saving surgery. My mother is now 97 years old and we have Dr. Gupta to thank. While he is a man of few words, every word he says is the truth. Dr Gupta is an awesome surgeon. He saved my wife's life (emergency surgery 4 in the morning). Saved another church member's wife's life. Saved my life from massive infection abscess. Saved the admitting nurse's father's life. The list goes on... While in the hospital all nurses on the floor said if they had to have surgery they wanted Gupta. Any general surgery, this is the doctor one would want.

While it was very easy to get an appointment with the doctor and he seemed very professional prior to the surgery, The experience of the surgery and afterwards was exteremely unprofessional. My surgery was delayed 7 hours in part because of a previous surgery that started late and part because he had to run off to another case before getting back to me, which meant I had to stay in the preopt area hookup to an IV for 7 hours. My wife had surgey with Anand. He did great with the surgery and great with the follow up. I agree with all of the other reviews on here. His wife is the office staff and is extremely difficult to deal with and WILL mess up your billing and papework. I received a bill in which I immediately paid. Several months later, I received a letter from a debt collector saying I never paid it. I called her and she said she would take care of it. I have called multiple times to remind her and it is still in collections. This has been go... read more

Does this provider maintain a professional appearance? Absolutely! You can tell that he/she really makes an effort to look professional Did you have to wait long after you arrived for your appointment? No, I didn't have to wait very long Did this provider seem well-trained and experienced? Absolutely, they were an expert! Does this provider treat their staff well? Yes, they treat their staff with respect Did you notice a foul odor when you arrived at this provider's office? No, I didn't notice an odor

Dr. Gupta is an amazing surgeon and happy to help you no matter your situation. He is very professional and I like him. His wife, who is his secretary however, is probably the rudest person I have ever met in my life. She MIGHT answer your question but when she is done she will hang up on you. She has NO professional courtesy. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I get lost easily and the office was in a neighborhood I was not familiar with, but I eventually found it.

Dr. Gupta is a good surgeon. No complaints on him. However, his office staff was very rude and abrasive with me. When I received their statement, it gave no indication that it had been turned in to my insurance. I called them on it and they wouldn't even let me speak. They said they would send a copy of the rejection letter to me. I called my insurance company and found out that Dr. Gupta's office had turned the claim in on my husband instead of me. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question. I appreciated how easy it was to get an appointment with them. I was able to talk with them way before my surgery, and I felt much more comfortable going into surgery.
