Just about the worst doctor’s visit imaginable. I went in to his office complaining of really bad pain in the exact spot I’d had previous hernia surgery. Dr. Patel physically examined me and said that I didn’t have a hernia. He said I had a pulled groin muscle. He said he would prescribe PT and I should take ibuprofen. But I really thought it was a hernia problem given the pain was exactly like what I experienced previously, so I persisted and asked what tests could determine if it was a hernia. Doctor was inattentive to my pain. Placed a stent in my kidney and removed a kidney stone, but left me in worse pain than I initially was. When I called for pain medications, they were dismissive and unprofessional. They told me to go to the ER. They sent me home with 6 pills total. The stent has been in me for 1 week.
