Prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Tal’s, I dealt with a string of psychiatrists I would not recommend. I’ve been a patient of hers for 10 years now and I have no reason to seek help elsewhere. She’s an excellent doctor. She’s also kind and very understanding. I have only great things to say about her as a doctor.
Dr. Tal is an exceptional practitioner and demonstrates profound concern for the well-being of her patients.
I have been seeing Dr. Tal for 5 years. When I came to her my previous psychiatrist had me on a max dose of several medications. Despite complaining to my previous doctor, I was shuttled between medications, for years and years. Finally I saw Dr. Tal and told her I wanted to try a minimum amount of medication. Came to our first appointment more than 10 minutes late, and told me that she could not insure timeliness because "she gives her heart to her practice". I don't know what that means, but if you value your time, would suggest finding a practitioner who also respects yours.
She provides excellent service and is focused on results. She offers solid advice and has a holistic approach to her practice. I would highly recommend to anyone and have referred several friends and family.
Dr. Tal is upfront and honest but also kind and accommodating. I have a crazy work schedule and Dr. Tal always tries to accommodate my needs. She gives ample notice to her patients when she is leaving the country, so I can prepare by setting an appointment prior to or after she returns. Thank you Dr. Tal for really listening and never just overmedicating!
Incompetent & unreliable! This doctor leaves the country without providing any back-up doctor on call. She is unreachable by email, and has pressured her patient into removing his wife from his care team. While she was out of the country - family was at risk as a result of her negligence. She does not provide alternative medications, if needed. Don't waste your time!
I have been a client of Dr. Tal's for nearly ten years. She has helped me through some very dark times in my life. She is warm and compassionate and extremely professional. She is not one of those doctors who believes in spending five minutes with a client and then simply writing a prescription. I appreciate how she has taken the time to know me and support me for as long as I have been seeing her. My time with Dr. Tal has been invaluable and I highly recommend her to anyone in need.
