We love to kayak from here when the wind is too high to put in at Gravely point. Plenty of free parking nearby.

Nice little jetty and boat ramp near Anacostia park. There were a few logs and tree branches in the water. But it seemed better than what other boaters came across. The jetty seems to be a good place for people to fish. And people just sit around and enjoy the surroundings. Hope people can leave the area clean. Would be a good place to meetup here for volunteer trash pickup.
