Dr. Monterrosa is a wonderful provider. She really listens to what I really have to say. I always leave her office inspired and not like another number.

Dr. Monterrosa has repeatedly proven herself to be exceptionally well informed in psychiatry & in the general field of medicine . She once correctly diagnosed and treated a medical problem that was not even related to her specialty when two other doctors had failed to do so. She is patient and understanding, asks just the right questions, patiently listens to my answers and then recommends appropriate treatment. She is very cautious about over-medicating. She is the best. I highly recommend her.
I have been a patient of Dr. Monterrosa for almost three years now. I can honestly say that I have become a new and improved person thanks to her help. She is a kind and intelligent woman. She truly loves and wants to help her patients!
Dr. Monterrosa is an angel... She has this jar of positive affirmation cards that she lets you choose from to read aloud, & it always makes me smile. You can't keep them because she needs them for the other patients of course, but she lets you take your cell phone out to take a picture of the card u chose that day :) She's also so knowledgeable & intuitive...She figured out that I have C-PTSD from childhood, when no other psychiatrist took the time to even ask me so many questions. SHE'S GREAT
I feel like Dr. Monterrosa really listens to me. She takes steps to look at the physical and genetic problems that contribute to mental health. I feel great and she has really helped improve my quality of life.
Dr. Monterrosa and her staff is the greatest!!! She has helped my mother with her issues and has given my mother back to life. I would recommend her to anyone I know how need help.

She is unprofessional and inappropriate. She doesn't listen to complaints and lies when confronted. When I was crying, she looked at her clock and asked when I'd be done. I told her I was going out of state for a month and when I found out I couldn't fill one of my prescriptions she said I never told her. She asked me for detailed advice about her cat during MY session. She listed a career I never mentioned as my "goal". She refuses to use the entire hour of my session. Finding a new doctor ASAP
