This was my first (and last) appointment with Dr. Wood. She only spent a few minutes with me, didn't ask me many questions, didn't give me enough time to ask questions, and didn't bother to look at my reported allergies/drug sensitivities. She briefly looked at a rash and said that she would give me a prescription to alleviate it, but didn't tell me what the medication was. Dr. Wood's office staff are friendly and efficient. Dr. Wood is also friendly, gets to know her patients and their families, explains diagnoses and treatments very clearly, and provides appropriate preventative information. Very pleasant appointment.
Dr. Amy Wood is a wonderful dermatologist. I have been going to her for years, and she has helped me with many problems, including eczema and skin cancer. She has a warm and friendly manner and an expert eye for dermatological issues.

Experience was excellent, as usual. I have been a patient for ten years, beginning with a skin cancer episode. Since then, at all the follow-ups, Dr. Wood has been very thorough with the examination and explanations. I really appreciate the level of care she provides.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Wood for over 20 years and have recommended her multiple times and have friends who now go to her. She in on time, no nonsense and yet will answer any questions and take care of your issues, without making you feel your questions are not important. My only complaint is getting in touch with staff on the phone. But what Dr. Office doesn’t have that issue!! Leave a message we will get back to you!! They do get back within 24 hrs but it would be nice if that would do same day.
Dr Wood was thorough and addressed all my concerns. I am older and not as interested in all the cosmetic procedures that my previous dermatologist promoted. I was looking for a true medical skin check. I finally found the doctor for me.
