Dr. Shapiro is amazing. We met her at the hospital along with Dr. Fisher when my daughter was born. The low star reviews are unfair. The doctors are doing rounds at the hospital for the newborns on Monday morning, which is probably why they aren't there. They always return my calls. I'll send Dr, Shapiro photos and messages and she responds within the hour with suggestions, but if it's serious, she'll have us come in. The office is clean and the staff is so friendly. We have been seeing Dr. Shapiro since our son was born, and we have nothing but great things to say. We have always been able to schedule and appointment, Dr. Shapiro always spends a good amount of time at the visit, and she is caring and personable. Very happy with her.
BEWARE of this doctor’s office if you are looking for a new pediatrician for your child. This is not a review of the doctor but rather their deceptive billing practices. We wanted to change pediatricians so we interviewed a few around town. No other office billed us for a simple doctor interview except this office. According to the billing office unless the interview is done prenatal, it is considered a doctor visit! Last review is an unfair statement. Dr. Shapiro is an incredible doctor, very kind and knowledgeable. If I ever have a question for her, she will call me back within the hour. When my son was sick, she went out of her way to call just to check in and see how he was doing. We love seeing Dr. Shapiro.
