Amy Bytnar, of Newstone Realty, is a wonderful real estate agent. She was referred to us by a friend of ours and we are very glad that they did. We were selling the house that both my mother and mother-in-law had lived in until they passed away in 2007 and 2013, so it was an emotional situation. But Amy was not only professional, but compassionate and understanding. Throughout the entire process of selling the house, Amy was helpful, encouraging, and very knowledgeable in every aspect of the real estate market in the Triangle area. The photographs of the house were amazing, and along with her descriptions were a major part of our selling our home in just a few days…for more than we had hoped to get! Her ideas on staging were minimal, but the effect was maximal. Amy was very conscious of our budget, making suggestions of ways to improve the appearance of the house but not calling for expensive make-overs. With her hard work in the front yard (she even dug a flower bed!) the curb appeal was better than it had ever been. All necessary repairs were handled and supervised by her and she even traveled to the other side of the county to deliver the equity check to our daughter when we were out of town. We had not ever sold a house, and it had been 30 years since we had bought one, but we found that Amy was an invaluable resource in answering all of our questions. She was right on the mark in determining the market value of the house and got the best possible deal for us. And best of all, Amy has become a dear friend to us, staying in touch regularly even six months after we closed on the house. If we ever need to sell our own house, or want to downsize, we will definitely call on Amy to help us find the perfect place for us to call home.

Amy was by far the best realtor I have ever worked with. If she takes you on a client she will go above and beyond the call of duty to sell you house. Past realtors just listed my house and it didn't sell. Amy was way different. She actively worked with me to get the house ready and when it went under contract, she recommended and worked with contractors to do repairs. She stayed in touch the whole time and sold my house within 5 weeks. I cannot say enough good things about Amy and highly recommend her to sell your house.

Amy is an excellent realtor and we had an excellent experience with her! My husband and I were first time home buyers and she guided us through the process and made it much easier for us along the way. She answered any questions we had and she was very personal and professional. She truly cares about her clients and wants the best for them. I was seeking to buy a house in NC when I retired - but was not sure when that would be. Knowing that can be a long, futile trip that scares off most real estate agents. Not Amy. She took on the challenge and went above and beyond what was expected. She became my eyes and ears. It took time but she found the perfect house for us and helped us through the sale and move in. We wouldn't use any other realtor! – My husband and I have bought and sold several homes in different cities, and Amy Bytnar is one of the very best real estate agents that we have ever worked with. Not only is Amy competent and professional, she is friendly, kind, and an extremely hard worker. As buyers, we received detailed data and analysis on homes we were considering that we had never received from other agents before, such as extended comparison information beyond what we expected to include homes that had expired or cancelled listings, as well as background information on particular houses that she garnered in conversations with the selling agent. She also provided us with a wealth of referrals to other repair and local service professionals, as well as extensive background information on the area that I hadn't seen before. And better yet, we were really pleased with the New Stone realty team. We liked supporting their different payment concept (cash back!), as well as their proactive and efficient way of working with clients. Amy would always refer to other professionals on her team when she wanted to triple-check a fact or discuss negotiation tactics in a difficult situation. As a result, you know that you'll be in good hands no matter what and that there are actually a team of professionals working behind Amy to ensure everyone's success. You always feel that they have your back no matter what. I am an EXTREMELY meticulous and demanding person (as well as being a cheapskate), and I must say that Amy went truly above and beyond for our urgent buying situation, and paid full attention to every last detail. During our home inspection she even brought razor blades and glass cleaner to scrape tiny bits of paint off many windows just to double-check that the seals weren't broken.
