This review is from a support staff perspective. I've been in healthcare for about five years, but Dessouki is undoubtedly the worst provider I've ever worked with. Carries himself in a pompous, unapproachable manner, and has zero respect for his support staff or patients. Honestly, I can't say enough bad things about this person. He's just plain awful.

The professional attitude of all the staff. The office is nice and clean, and gives feeling of welcome. Dr. Dessouke Saved my eye sight, he has taken a lot of time to help me regain my sight. I'm proud patient of Dr. Dessouki

I’m so glad that i was referred to Dr Dessouki by my general ophthalmologist 2 1/2 years ago. Thanks to his expertise and thoroughness he has successfully treated my eyes for central serous retinopathy! I am now free of any worrisome symptoms! His bedside manners are excellent! Dr. Dessouki is a thoughtful and kind professional. He spends appropriate time with me, answering questions and monitoring my eye care. I feel that he provides me with trustworthy recommendations, evaluating my present condition and avoiding unnecessary medical procedures. I value his care and would recommend his services to others.

I was referred by Dr Saab to Dr Dessouki because of my retina problem on both eyes. I have been seen him for almost a year, and he performed two surgeries on my eyes. Both surgeries went very well and my eye sights got recovered to 20/20 vision today. Very appreciated his patience and excellent surgery skill to help me to improve my eye sights. Talking to Dr Dessouki was a a very pleasant feelings.

I went to Dr Dessouki before doing Lasik surgery. The people at the Lasik place had told me I was a good candidate but Dr Dessouki found that I had retinal detachment. We scheduled a visit where he took care of that and advised me to do laser PRK which is a more conservative approach. Dr Dessouki also referred me to a great Lasik/PRK doctor at Stanford and I had a very successful surgery. Throughout this time Dr Dessouki took the time to discuss my options and to guide me through the process.

At 9/6/2014, Dr. Dessouki did vitro-retinal surgery for me. At the that time my right eye vision only 10% percent left due to serious retinal torn, I didn’t know who he is and he even fight for a surgery bed for me at a timely base. after surgery, he continued to follow up my progress till I fully recovered. He is a very skillful, experienced, and knowledgeable doctor. I continued to visit him for annually check up. I am grateful to his great efforts in taking care of my eyes.
