Amoca has an amazing facility and community and then on top of that it's a museum! I have done ceramics for over 20 years and this is a great studio! Accommodating, gas & electric kilns, dry materials. Any ceramicists dream! There are classes for beginners or advanced or you can work on your own. I give studio Amoca my highest recommendation!
Amoca is an amazing fully equipped studio that welcomes clay artists of all levels. The atmosphere is invariably warm and positive. People are incredibly helpful. I learn something new whenever I'm there. And, this is without the classes. Classes are not only taught by experts artists, but their cost, in combination with oodles of free studio time, is as reasonable as one could possibly hope for. Hello clay people, my name is Marjorie and I want you to know that AMOCA'S Clay Studio is the largest studio in Los Angeles County. They have the most kilns, the best teachers, clay, glazes, pot lucks and music.
I love AMOCA studio!!! It is one of the most inspiring environment that I have every experienced. Love the Studio, fun positive energy. Staff is awesome, professional and always very helpful.
AMOCA Ceramic Studio is one of a kind. Large space to work, a large variety of glazes, the hours are great, the price is right and the staff is AWESOME!!! If you're looking for a place to play with your clay you need to check out this studio!
