I have just finished my first wheel throwing class at AMOCA. It was wonderful! My teacher, CJ Jilek, is a very experienced and talented potter and a great teacher. This is not just a place to take classes, it is an actual, working, artist's studio. It is great to be surrounded by so many talented people. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. They are very inspiring! I'm so happy I found this place!
The studio at Amoca is not only the most extensively outfitted studio but the energy and 'feel' is one that nurtures creativity and joy. All the studio personnel are amazing people, helpful, professional and friendly. In fact all the folks that create at this studio just make it a place you want to be.
Family days are the best! My 6year old loves to create!!!!
It is a well organized and well run facility. It brings together many ceramics artist, of all ages who share a love of clay. The studio classes challenges you to new levels. It is also a great place for people who have never worked with clay who want to learn. The environment is perfect for creativity.
I have been coming to Amoca for several years now. The place is amazing. Better than Disneyland! The staff is diverse and they offer a range of classes. Very friendly environment. Everyone is willing to help each other. You don't know what you're missing!
