Great care under Dr. Tandon and his team.
I highly recommend Dr. Tandon. He has removed cataracts in both of my eyes and implanted toric lenses. I have gone from -8 vision with a high level of astigmatism to 20/20 vision. Dr. Tandon is different in that he is passionate about what he does, he is professional, confident and personable. He does thousands of surgeries, but remains interested in each patient. When I walked in to his office without glasses, he seemed just as excited for me as I was. My entire experience has been amazing!
I went (1 month ago) got Lasik with Dr Tandon. He was very knowledgeable at the pre-op appointments and patiently talked me through all steps and expectations. His staff made sure that scheduling the Lasik surgery went flawlessly and when I was in the room they made it easy to stay calm. They warned me of any side effects I might have, from halos to dry eye, and I ended up being lucky enough to have practically no side effects or discomfort during healing. I had the best Lasik of anyone I know.
Dr. Tandon is a caring and compassionate health care provider. He gave up his Sunday afternoon to see me for a concern. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything he is doing.
Referred to me by my optometrist as "The best in town. He lives to do cataract surgery, as compared to those who do it as a job". During my surgery prep it was clear (and stated) by a couple of the nurses that they think the same of him. Dr Tandon is also a very nice man, and very caring! My surgery needed to be pushed back a bit because he spent a week in Haiti doing surgery for people who could not otherwise afford it. Add 100 recommendation points to "Excellent" for this!
She lacks compassion and shows arrogance. All the good reviews must come from friends, family or employees. I'd not trust this doctor.
I had to get cataracts removed from both eyes and was referred to Dr. Tandon by my family optical doctor. I was apprehensive about the whole situation. On my first visit to Dr. Tandon's office, all my questions was answered and I felt comfortable with Dr. Tandon immediately. My surgery was a success. The environment of the staff was that of genuine concern, patient, and friendlessness. I have told everyone I know about Dr. Tandon (or I refer to him, Dr. Wonderful) and my experience.
The care I received was outstanding. I have glaucoma and diabetes. Consequently, when I decided to have this surgery I wanted to makes sure I had someone who was highly experienced. Dr. Tandon was recommended by my glaucoma specialist for my surgery. His communication skills are excellent and I was impressed by his dedication to his patients. I now have 20/15 vision in my right eye and 20/20 vision in my left eye. For the first time in 57 years, I do not need glasses for distance vision.
Dr. Sawchyn got me in right away when I had an issue and spent the time needed to help me understand what was going on. I am sure I was a little fidgety because I am not used to someone touching my eye, but the exam was quick and painless.
