I have known Dr Amir professionally since 2012. When she opened her weight loss practice I knew she would be a leader in her field. She is constantly quoting the latest science and explains her care and plan in detail. She is so easy to talk to and her office is very different now. She is able to give patients unlimited time and her staff is great! Never have to wait long for a call or email back! She has medicine in house, her own App and the latest technology.
I am so glad I was recommended dr Amir. She is an expert at helping people who have been struggling to lose weight reach their best health with the latest science. I have other medical conditions and she is able to work around them with treatments that are safe for each patient. Love her staff!

Dr Amir is well respected at Memorial Hospital. In fact, my husband has used her and loved her and so I started going to her for my weight and she has been amazing. She has helped me lose over 20 lbs with simple changes and I feel great. I recommend her to anyone who is struggling with weight and is looking for a leader at the field.
Dr. Amir was my pcp for years in Hollywood. She was always on top of her game and thorough with my care. She was easy to talk to and always teaching me how to better care for my health. She sadly left to pursue obesity and weight management and I miss her so much but know she will be a rock star in helping patients. I cant say enough about her!
I was dr. Amir patient for 17 years. She is a excellent doctor and very caring. Moved to Jacksonville and did not want to loose her care.
I love Dr. Amir, but I am leaving the practice because her office staff has become absolutely horrible. It took 6 weeks to get a referral for a very important procedure and I would not have gotten it at all if I hadn't gone to the office myself and stood there until I got the referral. My appointment was 10am the next morning and in spite of the facility calling, me calling and my having given them 6 weeks notice of my appointment, when I went to the office, it was like they had no idea what I was talking about.
