Spinal stenosis and pain are my issues. Dr Mehbod gave easy to understand answers to my questions. Brought up stuff from the mri that nobody else saw. I have had 2 previous surgeries for lumbar stenosis so I am a bit familiar with the problems seen. So I could see that Dr Mehbod gave me the straight scoop on my issues. Answers like “that may happen again” or “surgery is no guarantee”And the devil you have now vs the devil in the future,.
The staff and Mehbod, were all very promp, polite, took the time to hear my concerns and issues. They were very thorough with their explanations for my issues and what the steps would be for my care and treatment.
Dr. Mehbod us very personable and knows his stuff. We would highly recommend him for spine care.
Did not explain anything on the MRI and what he would recommend as a plan going forward for the issues going on in my back. It may not be new to him, but it is for me. I felt like he was in a hurry to get in and out of the office visit. Felt my issues weren't important and he came across, sometimes you just have to deal with it. Not in my book. Will not see this doctor or trust him with my back care.your the doctor, the specialist, act like one.

After being told by a different surgeon I wasn’t a candidate for surgery and referred me to a pain management doctor I decided to see Dr Mehbod. He told me he could absolutely help me and he did!!!!! After 5 weeks post surgery I am pain free. Dr Mehbod is awesome! He’s an excellent surgeon, kind and understanding. After being in so much pain I feel it’s a miracle that I found him!!!!!!
