Dr. Mehbod his friendly and has a good personality and sense of humor, More importantly, he knows what he’s doing and it’s filled of expertise and is able to explain this to his patient myself included. I was referred to Dr Mehbod and assured that he was a top spinal surgeon. Each of my appointments with him were impressive. I've seen him twice in his office and have had a phone meeting with him also. He was very thorough and has explained the MRI clearly in ways that I understand. Dr. Mehbod has been incredibly kind, compassionate and very skilled and dealing with my spinal issues. He performed a spinal fusion and will be doing a second fusion on me. I am incredibly grateful for his care and the warmth and professionalism that accompany it.
I have my life back because of Dr Mehbod and his outstanding staff. Dr. Hembod was my 3rd opinion as I couldn’t find a competent surgeon in my opinion ( you have to find a surgeon that feels right to you ) and Dr Mehbod was it. We went over the MRI’s and discussed a plan of action, he told me that he was going to fix me and that’s exactly what he did ( L5-S1 lumbar fusion) I was to the point that I could not walk or stand more than a few minutes, now 6 weeks after surgery I am walking 6-7 miles a day and have ZERO pain. Spinal stenosis and pain are my issues. Dr Mehbod gave easy to understand answers to my questions. Brought up stuff from the mri that nobody else saw. I have had 2 previous surgeries for lumbar stenosis so I am a bit familiar with the problems seen. So I could see that Dr Mehbod gave me the straight scoop on my issues. Answers like “that may happen again” or “surgery is no guarantee”And the devil you have now vs the devil in the future,.
The staff and Mehbod, were all very promp, polite, took the time to hear my concerns and issues. They were very thorough with their explanations for my issues and what the steps would be for my care and treatment.
Dr. Mehbod us very personable and knows his stuff. We would highly recommend him for spine care.
