Service ok, need better menu – I found the choice of items pretty lame and underwhelming. Brought a friend here who had never seen Little Italy in Baltimore based on the reviews and we were both disappointed. The atmosphere is cute, but the menu is pretty lame. Don't come here for a "Little Italy" or a real Italian flavor. Fine for a quick lunch, but not to impress anyone. Service was unfriendly and brusque at first, but warmed up based on the look of our faces!
AMICCI'S FRIENDLY – ON A SATURDAY NIGHT DATE WITH MY GIRL FRIEND WE BOTH EXPERIENCED AMICCI'S AND LITTLE ITALY FOR THE FIRST TIME. WHEN THEY SAY A VERY CASUAL PLACE THEY MEAN IT I HAD THE ONLY TIE IN THE ENTIRE PLACE. THE STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND GOT EVERYTHING PERFECT FIRST TRY. THE FOOD WAS FINE EXCEPT I'M NOT USED TO SHELLS BEING ON MY SHRIMP EVEN IF IT WAS JUST THE TAIL. THE AMBIENCE WAS GREAT AND MADE FOR AN ALMOST PERFECT NIGHT.
Overrated – We went here because it was greatly recommended, but i disagree with my friend who told me about it. First off, we waited for about a half hour only to enter a hot and stuffy dining room that resembled my daughter's elementary school cafeteria. The food was satisfactory for the price and the service was less than attentive. Stick with Little Italy tried and true.
Great Little Spot – Amiccis in Baltimore's Little Italy doesn't impress by it's atmosphere, the place is rather small up front but available dining area in the rear. What attracts me is the cuisine, the flavor and the ingredients owner Roland has his chefs enhance the food. The prices can't be beat. It's not the type where you worry if your dressed properly. Great food!! – The portions are huge and the price is reasonable. The Pasta Lorenzo..(I think that's the name) was great with lots of veggies. It seems small from the outside but it can accomodate a large group. The only complaint was the waiting area..too small.
1ST CLASS ON A BUDGET – I have visited AMICCIS 4 different times and have always left happy-content-and with leftovers.The portions are large and the prices small.what a great buy for the thrifty business traveler
Great – Delicious, innovative, fresh food served promptly. A short menu, it could have more variety. But the food was out of this word. Lots of food for the money, relatively cheap. The "garlic - shrimp" bread is out of this world, and the fresh mozarella is out of this word. No one in my large group had a complaint, except maybe it was hot, needs to be air conditioned.
Penne Rotundo - Yum! – You have to try this restaurant for the Penne Rotundo - it is absolutely amazing!
What's Not To Love? – Great food, large portions, reasonable price. What's not to love? Note: You must try the Pane Rotunde (might be misspelled but they'll know what you're talking about).
