We second the sentiments of Joseph Gaborow. We moved 120 miles away last year and one of the things we miss most is Amherst Veterinary Hospital! All of you, doctors and staff, have taken such good care of the Burford doxies and Sandy. Exceptional communication, care, compassion, and skill. Efficient, friendly, and gr8 bedside manner Dr. Hope has with her patients�and didn't catch the young gal's name (the vet tech with 12 siblings), but she was awesomely accommodating for my littles! Very helpful and knowledgeable�

This place is a joke. If you care for the well being of your animal, do not take them here. Look elsewhere. Took my dog in for surgery for bladder stones. Got him home an he wouldn't eat, was shaking an puking up everything he before his intestines. Took him back the next day to see what was going on an had to leave him for a few days to keep him fluids. Vet admitted upon dropping off that they thought they had replenished enough fluids in surgery but wasn't enough for him. Went back to pick him up an of course they make you... read more
