RecommendedEvery time we’ve had our dogs to the Amherst Vet over a span of 20 years we’ve been treated fantastic. Our fur babies are number one and are treated as such. We get after care calls as well which we think is awesome and so kind. The front end staff and vets here are second to none. They are a great group of animal loving people. I’d recommend them any day. Keep up the great work Amherst Vet and we will keep coming for sure:))
If I’m bringing one of my beloved pets to you it’s serious, we only bring them when they are ill, so don’t make me wait an hour in the waiting room after our scheduled time, while you take several pets in before mine!! Called Laurel stone when I got tired of being ignored they rushed her in and didn’t even have a chance to sit in their waiting room. NEVER again!

As a pet owner all my life , I've been going here for over 30 years. This clinic has been a real blessing to my beloved pets over the years (dogs and cats). Cannot say enough great things about the vet's and staff. Highly recommend.
We would like to thank Amherst Veterinary Hospital for the exceptional care they took of our dog Mickey. Words can't describe how wonderful they were. I would like to especially thank Dr Braer, Chastity, and their wonderful staff for Mickey's care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They treat your pet like their own.
Dr. Gries and the staff who helped care for my sweet rescue bunny are fantastic. First, when I had her spayed, and more recently when he had to remove a cancerous mammary tumor. The cancer was aggressive and we are heartbroken to report that we lost her this evening. As far as I can tell she had a heart attack. But, I would not hesitate to bring my next critter to him for medical care. He definitely is the "Bunny Whisperer!" Thank you for providing such sterling care for my sweet girl.
