RecommendedCalled this afternoon when I broke my key for my 2008 Taurus. Someone was at my car in less than 20 minutes, and they had my key cut and programmed in under 10. Fast and friendly service. Hopefully I never have this issue again, but if I do I will be calling ames lock and security. Thanks guys.

Called this morning to get somebody to let me into my apartment. Called before opening. Was told it'd be 3 to 4 hours before they could make it to me that they had prior appointments. I was quoted $160. I asked if there was anyway they could come sooner because I had a furniture delivery on the way and their response was "That's not how we work hoopty doop laty dah" (exact words) but they did help and give me a number to another locksmith in Ames who came within an hour and charged $70. Best customer service I've encountered in a long time. I got locked out of my truck while in Ames. After I called Ames Lock & Security, he wasted no time in reassuring me he would get there as soon as he could to help me out. He showed up, was even apologetic about not getting there faster, and painlessly unlocked my truck in seconds.
