We used Mat for my buyers inspection.. Both myself and my client were extremely impressed with his professionalism. He explained things to my client which allowed her to make the best decision for herself & family.. highly recommend using him if you are in the Peterborough area!!
I never leave reviews for anything but Mat from Amerispec was so honest, flexible, genuine and thorough that I felt he deserved some public praise. He explained things as he went, brought cool tools and gadgets other home inspectors I have hired did not (i.e.probe camera, drone), didn't make me feel like I was being annoying with my questions and was just a decent friendly human being throughout his thorough inspections... he has done two for me so far and I intend to call him again in the future.
Reg was absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful experience with him as our home inspector. He is kind, attentive, thorough and honest. You could not make a better choice for a home inspector. He took the time to listen to our questions and explain things to us. 10/10, can't go wrong.

Punctual, thorough and informative. It was kind of fun learning about the house and as a first time homebuyer I was a little lost with some of the minutia but Reg explained things to me so I could see the bigger picture. He gamely went into the crawl space and up ladders in the rain to check all of the things!
