My parents have been customers for 22 years and were going to pre-buy a summer fill in July. It was way over priced so they wanted to go with another company and asked them to remove the tank in July. My parents had to contact them multiple times until they finally said it would be done by this week. Well it’s the end of the week and it still hasn’t been done. AmeriGas is not reliable and I advise anyone reading this to go with a different company if you need propane to heat your home because they do not care!
.'m a former customer, "will call", deliveries were fine. Prices were higher than other providers. Upon termination of service, I was billed $500.00 to come pickup the tank. It's was like one last gouge cause we broke up. I didn't even get credited back for the unused gas, as a matter of fact, I believe there was also a "gas recovery fee". Seriously Amerigas prices suck.
After spending weeks trying to settle a gas smell issue with you, I find myself with the same issue again. This time the tank is hissing, & I can see gas leaking out of the regulator. I don’t have time or strength to go through this again. Communication is nearly impossible for me with language I can’t understand.
It is impossible to contact a local Amerigas representative. They add charges for things that dont even exist. And the call service in some other country are very hard to comprehend. We will be putting a lock on our gas tank and letting it run out. There are better local propane gas companies that you can actually talk to locals and prices are cheaper. Whoever responds to this review is probably sitting behind a desk in some other country and have no idea how bad this company is. The ratings are taking a serious dive already... read more
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE Did i mention Amerigas is HORRIBLE? I know this will do absolutely no good, but it makes me feel a little better to leave a bad review for them. Charged me $400 to pick up their empty tank, then proceeded to charge me for $211 worth of gas that they put into my new tank with a different gas company after they had already picked up their tank! I can not say enough bad things about this company, from price of gas to customer service, it is awful!
