In January of this year I hired AmeriGas to refill my 500 gallon propane tank. 2 months later after a heavy rain my 7 year old told me that he heard a bubbling noise in the back yard. Upon further investigation, I found the propane tank was leaking. The leak was significant enough that after the water drained from the rain it could still be heard as a hissing sound and the smell of propane was strong in the back area of the yard.
