Seems to be recently new owners. Mostly clean. Breakfast was very good!
For those of you reading bad reviews, take note- this hotel is under nrw management since February & the new people are really going out of their way to make this a very nice hotel. I was there for our old car tour & were pleasantly surprised by how nice my room was, clean, comfortable, nice cold air. Did I mention that it was HOT in Counsil Bluffs. The air felt great. Yeah not good experience the front desk lady was rude wouldn't extend our stay because room she rented the night before the toilet was leaking room smelled wanted to stay another night she said we complained too much then wanted to rent same room for a hundred that we payed for 80 the night before she wouldn't let us stay the second night breakfast wasn't good pool was moldy on bottom don't stay here with that rude lady working there I stayed July 3 2026
Signage was poor. Room had not been vacuumed and there was live spiders in corners of room, sunflower shells, and dead bugs and crumbs all over. The manager put us in another room when we asked for a vacuum to clean the room. The new room was so musty my nose immediately plugged up. We asked to remain in the one with the nasty floor and the manager came and ran a vacuum over the floor. Beds were rock hard and breakfast was lacking. We had a great experience here! We only stayed one night, in a two queen bed room. The rooms were clean, we were pleasantly surprised by all the breakfast options served, and every employee we interacted with was very kind, friendly, and professional!
