This was absolutely the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. We checked in, dropped off our bags, and left until later that evening. The next morning, after waking up and taking a shower, we discovered mold throughout the room and a cockroach. This was completely unacceptable and made us extremely uncomfortable staying there. We immediately brought the issue to the attention of the front desk/owners, but they acted as though it wasn’t a serious concern. This hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Quiet room. Plenty of towels and really good water pressure. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We came to Iowa for work, but our job was unexpectedly canceled and we were sent back home. We lost our work and income with no warning.
