Beware. America's Best is a classic bait and switch operation.Today I went to the store at **** Beltline to get the advertised two pair of glasses for $79.95. I knew there would be additional charges for upgrades.I told an associate, who remained seated the whole time I was there, that I would not require an eye exam because I had a prescription from my ophthalmologist. They are horrible. I bought 2 pairs of glasses and in 6 months they're both broke. Do not recommend

I went in for eye exam that was fine. I gave them my glasses which I purchased elsewhere Versace eyeglasses. Three weeks later I receive a call they were lost in transit. I advise consumers do not purchase from this company at all.

Supervisor ******, ******* **, dresses inappropriately; is very argumentative; not pleasant to be around at all. I was working with one of the female floor assistance and she was very pleasant and kind; then ****** walked over to us in his shorts, shoulder cross-over bag on his body, and a t-shirt and he looked at my prescription which I had in my hand and said to me that he doesn't know if the prescription is for computer long-distance or not. Contacted America's Best on ********** in Hermitage, ** to determine if this company is in network for VSP Vision *************** After paying a large sum of monies for both myself and my spouse, six months later I have now received a **** stating that my insurance did not pay. The America's Best sent directed me to a so-called VSP phone number and work out the matter. The representative there continued to ask for my name and birth date and tried to get my full SSN. I had an appointment for 7 May I went in at my allotted time and I was told my appointment was changed to 14 May and they allowed a family of seven in with no appointment instead I was very upset and I was not told as to why my appointment was changed and I was never told beforehand that it was changed. I worked at Amer. Best for about a month and a half, and I can say that it was a totally needlessly stressful experience. I started work at the beginning of a pay period, but when everyone else got paid, I didnt. After a few days of waiting for my check, I contacted the DM, ***********************. I purchased two pairs of glasses in November 2021. I even purchased insurance for $25.00. I'm having problem with one of the glasses, too tight. I went to them twice to get them adjusted, and still the same problem. Went back and compliant. Was told to get another frame. I choose the same frame. This time the frame is way too loose.
