Plano store on Highway 75 NEVER EVER GO TO THIS STORE. The manager is one of the most unpleasant people you will ever meet and the staff are at best incompetent and uninformed. I went yesterday to get myself some glasses and everything was great except for one thing. This was at the Collin Creek mall location. I took my 3 year old daughter with me to my appointment and she was being fussy because she hadn't taking a nap. I will admit she was being a little loud. One of the employees at this location had the nerve to tell my daughter "shhhh we don't yell in here". This is employee is lucky that all she got from me was a dirty look. Over all one star to Grapevine location & five star to Collin creek mall location I recommend this doctor to everybody she is the 100% best! I been this location over three years, my eye sight situation got so bad due diabetes medication, she was very concerned gave me a best for me. I decided go Grapevine location near by where I work at but back to Plano location Grapevine location doctor was BS.
Slowest service in the world. Been waiting for over an hour just to get some glasses. Have the prescription in hand and the frames I want. This should be a 5-10 and gone. But nope, the one worker says wait at least another 30 minutes and the other has been working with the same woman the whole time I've been here in the store. I won't ever be coming back here and definitely won't be referring anyone to this waste of time.
Very convenient. I had a great experience with the staff and the Doctor. They will try to sell you all the "add ons" as they are supposed to do working in retail. It was very busy so be prepared to wait, even if you make an appointment. I would use Americas Best again.
I was very pleased with my experience. This was my first time here as well as my first foray into vision correction. I suffer from some spine and neck issues which made it very difficult to align both my chin and forehead with the exam equipment. Both the tech and the Dr. were very patient and accommodating in working to get a good alignment for the eye exams.
