I have never been so humiliated or embarrassed in an eye doctor's office before in my life. Went to the Fairview Road office in Simpsonville, SC today for eye exam and to purchase glasses. I had an eye exam on June 4th with Dr. Then went to pick out the frames and got the glasses back on June 16th. I tried them on. The prescription was 3 times stronger than my old prescription. I told Kim that it was too strong and I can't focus at all. She told me to wear the glasses for three days. I said okay and tried it on for one day and couldn't see anything. I had to put my old glasses back on and I could see everything better than the new RX. They were supposed to call me back on the 19th to check to see how I felt; t... read more

I took my grandson for an eye exam. I was shocked at how clean they were. They took our temps, clean pen for each person, buckets for glasses tried on. I'm not phobic but I was impressed. My son is auto immune compromised and I don't want to take any chances bringing something home to make him sick.
My husband and I went into the store in Simpsonville a week ago today to see about getting him some new glasses. They took our temperatures which were fine and let us come in and he picked out a couple of pairs of frames that he wanted and they set an appointment for him to come back this past Wednesday for the eye exam. when we got there they took our temperatures again and they were fine and they told us that we would have to wear masks.
