Do NOT visit this location! I have NEVER heard a more rude or condescending "Dr." than Amster. He actually asked my son "Do you WANT to go blind?" He is nothing short of an asshole. Two words come to mind...God complex
The experience my husband had this morning with Amster was below awful. It's sad when you see a friendly staff and expect the same from Dr, instead you get to deal with a condescending prick. Because of the Dr alone you just lost 4 more patients. I was planning on making appointments for myself and my daughters there, but not any longer. To the staff, I sure hope he is not this nasty with you.. if he is report his behavior and move on!! You don't deserve it!!!!!!
if I could have less than a star I would. I went in for the special which I think is just put out there to lure people in. Ended up more than double that. Now I wait and wait. I have called to see if my glasses are in twice. The first time the woman that answered was incredibly rude and put out by having to do her job. The second time I sat on hold for 30 minutes and was then told they would call me I didn't need to call them. Completely unprofessional. I just want my glasses.
Doctors and staff aren't as friendly as other America's best stores. "Appointment times" are more like rough guidelines on how to wait an extra hour. The male doctor has no respect for a person's wishes, or their profession.
