Am thinking good about it
We ate at rhe Americana this evening and the meal was excellent. I had the loaded ribeye and my husband had the pan seared salmon and they were both cooked to perfection they melted in your mouth. Our server Jen was awesome and did a wonderful job. Jen never left us without our glasses being full or consistently checking on us. We will for sure be going back to the Americana.
The food and bottomless cocktails for brunch is great. If you are going to have 2 or more mimosas or bloody Marys, it's worth it to do the all inclusive. Our server was less than stellar, but with it being a buffet it wasn't a huge problem. I'd definitely go here again if I ever find myself in Des Moines and ready to brunch.
First class establishment. Tremendous food/drink selection. And the staff is out of this world accommodating. Special thanks to their Executive Chef Dan for an unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back.
