RecommendedDr Tallis and staff are wonderful! Chrisann just talked me through how to put back in my popped-out lens and repair the temple during this “shelter in place” time. Praise God and a big thank you to Chrisann for her patience!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tallis for years! He is always so kind & eager to answer questions. I feel like he truly cares for his patients & is passionate about what he does. Every exam I’ve had has been short, sweet & to the point. I live in Peoria, but the service is worth the drive for me! The receptionists are always very nice. I would highly recommend American Vision Center to anyone looking for an eye doctor!

I want to give the biggest shoutout to Dr. Tallis and his American Vision Center. Can’t recommend this place enough. I missed picking up my contacts and am leaving on Monday at 6 am. They are closed for the weekend. I talked to his wife and business manager on the phone this morning - who said that they will make a special trip to open the office and let me pick up my contacts so I am not without my contacts. Have really appreciated them over the years. Love the selection and the care. Recently I sat on my husband's glasses and flattened them. They were able to straighten them and didn't charge me. Thank you very much
I love Dr.Tallis, he is very knowledgable and funny. He makes eye exams less scary. I would recommend him to anyone!
