Staff was not versed in understanding Medical power of attorney rights of spouse of resident. When going to bimonthly health care plans for my wife, I was told I could not plan to bring my spouse home due to wording of medical power of attorney in her trust. After contacting an attorney it was determined that I did have the right to remove my wife from the facility without consent of my daughter who was improperly listed as a co-MPOA.
