Scholarship and Education.
While these gifts are very generous and needed to attract the best and brightest, what resources are being allocated to combat the mental health issues on campus? It is just the beginning of November and my daughter has witnessed 3 suicide attempts! She herself asked for counseling after be witness to someone trying to kill themselves and she has to wait over a month to start the healing process. Thanks AU. I send you a happy, smart young lady and you return her educated but broken. Is an AU education worth that price??
i also attended American University and reputation is par excellent. my Professor's were very good, friendly, and exceedingly helpful when pressed for help.

Don’t care about protecting black women students. Two incidents that made me feel violated happened on campus, went to the people I was supposed to for both and no one was found at fault so absolutely nothing happened. Multiple racist incidents on campus that can be googled.
A Dear Friend and I were discussing her Granddaughter' s future regarding Colleges....and she mentioned that American University was being considered...She changed her mind after I shared the video of a Black Student named Gianna being attacked by Campus Police for no cause....The video shows a campus cop belittling and mocking Gianna who was cleared of any wrong doing....
