Sleazy marketing We went to AS for a bedroom set. A salesman met us at the door and showed us a set which was not exactly what we wanted, but looked fairly decent. Then I asked about the "Half Off Memorial Day Sale," and was told that meant half off equivalent furniture -- you have to look very closely at their sales ad to find this. Then, when he gave us a price for the set I remarked that it was much higher than the five piece sale price, I was told that the the bed was three pieces. 3 piece leather living room I purchased a 3 piece 100% italian leather living room set in a medium beige/tan color: couch, loveseat, and chair. I have had them for 5 months now and am actually incredibly impressed by the price, as well as for the look and durability that I received. I have three small kids and a large dog (with thick nails), these pieces have held up perfectly thus far. Small confusion...but well worth it. I just received the bedroom set I purchased from the store in Kennesaw, GA. I am so happy with the set I chose. There was some confusion about availability when I first ordered...but they got it straightened out and gave me an additional discount for the inconvenience. Horrible Experience We purchased 11 pieces of furniture from American Signature - Brandon, Fl on 7/7/08 and were told all pieces were in stock and would be delivered on Friday. Of the 11 pieces purchased in cash and paid in full - 7 pieces were damaged, defective or not delivered. One night stand was not delivered because it was mysteriously not in stock (when I called asking why, they stated they had 199 of those items in stock). Good Experience My husband and I went to the __cpLocation on Galleria Blvd and liked it just fine. We talked to a friendly and knowledgeable salesperson who was patient with our decision making process. She even let us shake and pull on the furniture to be sure it was sturdy enough! I think that means she has faith in their products! We bought a sofa set from them and we received everything in a timely fashion. Affordable Prices because their products stink Customer service is atrocious and the store truly does not care if you are happy or not. Their products are delivered with problems; and their policy is never to replace furniture but to "try and repair" first. It is a nightmare trying to schedule repair work, and they do not bother to try and make anything right. The staff is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and they have no desire to "please the customer." Don't waste your money here. It certainly will not be appreciated.
Disappointed in Kentucky Just received my new living room suite from AS in Knoxville yesterday. First , after selling us the furniture we could not get it delivered so had to pay almost $200 to rent a truck and have it delivered ourselves. Upon uncovering the furniture found out that 2 of the 4 pieces have damage. The sofa even has a 2-3 inch gap were the material wasn't even sewn. not thrilled We bought a bedroom suite about two months ago from AS. Our sales rep took us right to what we were hoping to find and sold us on a great deal...or so we thought. As it was two months ago, I may be a little fuzzy on the exact particulars, but the store was offering a financing deal on items in the AS line. If you spend $1500 or more, they were offering zero down and no interest for 12 months PLUS a ten year warranty.
