Just came in to try this location and was treated poorly by an elderly woman named Cherri: - She put the needle in my arm and decided to twist it around because of "scar tissue getting stuck" which was incredibly painful. - Before the donation ended she clamped the wrong end of the tubing and told me I'd have to donate from my other arm for her to get her samples, which I said no so she called over someone else to dig the clamp off the tubing with the needle digging into my arm even more. - She hands me a small square of gau... read more
Great facility with kind employees. As donors, we were offered warm blankets, snacks, and were able to watch movies if desired. In response to some of the complaints that I have read from others, regardless, we need to realize that we are there to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Some visits may be difficult, but you're not there for a spa treatment or for "incentives"...
First time in many years I've been able to donate blood again. Quiet, calm, professional. They also do red blood cells and plasma. I donate platelets constantly now because they're such a big need for them and they don't last past 5 days. Takes two plus hours. They've got a Netflix TV there for you. Also, you can find red cross platelet donation group on Facebook. I've had a lot of good information and friendly chats.

So.. I came in to donate blood and this lady Cherri did my check in. It was all fine and well until she started getting weird and saying things that just didn’t seem appropriate. When I messed something up she said it’s ok i break the rules here all the time. I wouldn’t usually complain about an elderly lady but after she fibbed on my iron test so I could get my shirt I think i just have to say something, it’s been eating me up.
