My current office is in this building and I have to say the security staff is the best. They are all so kind and helpful. They say good morning and good night every day I'm there. Other than that, the building is always clean and close to Union Station.
The APA is doing NOTHING to prevent Parental Alienation and child psychological abuse. They are part of the problem when they should be part of the solution. Shame on them.
Ignoring the lifetime impact of alienation on others is a disservice. The APA has the responsibility to look at the underlying personality disorders and basic hatred that is permeating this country. Parential Alienation is a life threatening event.
In order to provide the best care in your scope of practice, you must look into Parental/FAMILY alienation. Children are suffering from parental warfare in high conflict divorce and custody litigation because they are being utilized as weapons. If our job is to protect the child's best interest, then you must look into parents who's goal is to annihilate the other parent's AND their parent's extended family's relationship with the child.
