These guys do NOT actually care about the public. Read the book The Body Keeps the Score and you'll see it is abundantly clear they are not motivated to help the American people. There is something sinister at play here.
The way you guys handle research papers and subsequent access to them makes me as a student incredibly upset. You embody everything that is wrong with the academic world today.
