RecommendedI have been here since day 1 and I am proud and happy to be living here and will be here until they carry me out. We have a chapel and lots of activities and pleasant staff. I have lived in SCS almost my whole so I have lots of family close and I have made lots of new friends here. Another benefit it’s very safe and there is always someone around or you can have the privacy of your own apartment.
Lakeshore Senior Living is one of the most amazing spaces on earth. The residents brighten the facility with their friendliness and livelihood. They make this a home so warm and inviting with their smiles, pleasant conversation, and commaraderie. The staff are more like family and take great care to be sure to serve with humility and love. The atmosphere and ambience make it one of Macomb Counties most brightly hidden gems.
Very attentive and caring staff! They interact with the residents and engage conversation with them. Also nice to see the same faces caring for my cousin Aileen for the past six months. They greet me and my family by name and have been accommodating when we need anything. This has been a great place for my cousin to live. After having lived out of state, this was a smooth transition back to Michigan. She has even gained 10 pounds since moving here. You fall in love with all the residents, staff is great, building is beautiful.
Today there is an Easter Party here w an egg hunt for children, lots of activities & brunch w the Easter Bunny. From my room I am looking over a petting zoo & have my windows open to hear the laughter & squeals of joy from the kids. Also the lake is the background. Can't think of a better way to end my morning.
Great visit with mom today. Nice place, nice people!
