I strongly caution anyone considering renting from American Homes 4 Rent (AMH). After four years as a resident, I left with a complete loss of confidence in this company due to repeated billing issues, poor communication, maintenance failures, and a frustrating move-out experience. After 10 YEARS as tenants, this is how we were treated. During COVID, we fell behind on our rent and had a rental assistance application in process that was expected to bring our account completely current. The company knew assistance was pending, but rather than work with us or wait for the assistance to be processed, they chose to move forward with ending our tenancy. . Worst company in the country . Bunch of crooked uneducated and unprofessional people . My dog got injured after the roof collapsed and they are ignoring my emails and receipts. I DID AND NO ONE IS REPLYING TO ME ! I WILL CALL FOX NEWS YOU WILL SEE THIS ON TV!!! They are trash . Marissa and Kecha should be fired . Garage door collapsed 2 months ago and now the whole roof but they still charge $3000+ a month . They are a fraud!
This company lied in their sellers disclosure about a home I just bought from them, they are greedy and untrustworthy. I hope to start the legal process against them because I am devastated.
The absolute worst property management ever. We have had a nightmare experience with these people. Terrible customer service. Poor quality of craftsmanship in their rental home. Stay far away from AMH!
