The American Heart Association is receiving funding from tobacco companies. Recently they changed their stance on vaping. Studies done in the UK show that vaping is 95% healthier. Mind you in the UK health care is free for all, and the vape shops are also in the hospital.
They lie about vaping in order to protect the money they receive from Big Tobacco via the Master Settlement Agreement
They're grossly misinformed about vaping and too hard headed to listen.
Nothing but an organization worried more about your wallet than your health.
The AHA once took a stand for vaping as a healthier pathway off of combustible cigarettes, their stance has now changed as their funding is in jeopardy. I can not trust an organization that is swayed by the almighty dollar. Other than Juul there is no big vape and as for the child epidemic there was a 0.6% increase in youth usage of tobacco per the Iowa AG so #quitlying AHA

As someone who successfully quit a 14 year smoking habit via vaping and is now markedly healthier than I once was, this organization’s stance on vaping and the reasons behind it disgusts me. Pam Delmedico Mustee admitted on social media they are bought by big tobacco to campaign against life saving alternatives! Complete disgrace. I will never support this company again!
