I am so glad your organization exists. I am not a Gold Star Mother; but, admire your work. I am so upset by Donald Trump's hurtful, disrespectful remarks about the parents of a fallen hero.

My Mom was an American Gold Star Mother from 1969 until her death in 2008. After my Father passed away I had the privilege of driving several of the GSM's to functions since they were getting older and not as sure of their driving. I considered it an honor to drive these special women and listened as they told stories of their sons. Some were Army, some Marines, some Navy but most importantly I knew they each missed their sons, but were proud that they gave their lives for our Country. God bless all Gold Star Mom's.
